I’m more than happy to conduct the poll!I’ll do everything in PPM , WTB, AHDN , BFS, Help !, RS, Revolver , SPLHCB , MMT, WA, AR, YS (side A and B), LIB , and PM 1 and 2 (please correct me if I’ve somehow stuffed that list up), and due to popular opinion, I’ll make it alphabetical.
Popular opinion, I’m confused. I thought Ron Nasty and Ahhh Girl were the only ones who wanted it sorted in alphabetical order, I wanted it in some form of chronological order, sir walter raleigh wanted it sorted by album release date, meanmistermustard doesn’t care as long as everything’s included, and you wanted it sorted by recording date, wouldn’t that mean that popular opinion wants it sorted in chronological order, not alphabetical order.
I say if we’re doing this by popular opinion, we should have a poll:

Offline I say use the same list ordered in the same order as in 2015. It was ok then and it’ll be ok now. I think it’s a bit childish saying you won’t participate because it’s not ordered as you want… wether it is by recording date, instruments or haircuts…

Reading the discussion for the 2015 poll – people not ranking everything was a factor. Do you wish me to take the average vote, instead of the total votes, to remove that issue? Or does that look too much like change?
. I’ll PM you, @Starr Shine? for the form.In my humble opinion, even though it’s a big change, I think taking averages would be a good idea. Of course, there would still be inaccuracies: For example, it could happen, that some lesser known songs are scored more often by those who like them than by those who don’t because the latter can’t be bothered listening to those songs again. But I think that the inaccuracies caused by this method will be smaller in the end, than the inaccuracies caused by songs that are only ranked half as often than other songs. But maybe, you could also decide after you have received all the votes. One never knows, in the end, everyone ranked every song and you don’t need to change anything anyway.
