This song was running through my head, particularly the lines
And if you should discover that you don’t really love her,

and it occurred to me: it’s funny that George sang it, when some years later he would tell Pattie that if things didn’t work out with Eric, she could always come back to him*.

George’s vocal is nice but the instrumental backing is awful. Often we are told of the power the Beatles created in their sound and yet here its so weak, wet and puny.
