When I saw Paul in concert this summer, I found myself crying during “All My Loving .” It's such a sweet, beautiful song, but it's also so very early-Beatles, you know? Paul sounded so young…I know it's 2011 and he's 69, but if I closed my eyes and just listened to the music, he could almost be 22 again in 1964. I can't really explain what I felt at that moment, but it was somehow a very moving experience.
"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."
"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

is this you at 1:19?? haha…just kidding. but watching this video and the reactions in the crowd just goes to show the emotional connections people have to Beatles songs! I'd probably do the same thing if I ever got to go to a concert..lol
Can you take me back where I came from?

I can't remember if I've ever responded to this question, but if I did, oh well. Here Comes The Sun used to frequently make me cry. All Things Must Pass could if I'd let it. Treat Her Gently (Lonely Old People) from Venus And Mars makes me tear up.

I'll add “A Day In The Life .”
Don't ask, because I don't know…
Maybe it's the way John sings that song…
Or because I'm not in a good time.

Here Today i think is the only 1 tho the o2 advert of everyone singing Hey Jude in some place in London was very hard hitting. You could hear the beatles version low in the background being used as the foundations, so not some crappy cover or nonentity leading it.

For me, it has to be a combination of the song and an event that is either happening or has come to memory. For example, I know I'm gonna lose it on November 29 when I play All Things Must Pass (and I will).
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

I'll listen to George the whole day… I can't believe he's not here anymore. 10 years have passed. I will cry (again) with Beware Of Darkness …

I don’t know if I’ll be able to listen to any of his music, it might be too upsetting. I didn't listen to anything last year on the 8th for instance. I’m going to go over to the Washington National Cathedral and light a candle for George though. It's less than two weeks…I hate times like this, you can feel them creeping up on you.

mother by john lennon is the song which makes me maaad. I've listened to it after watching nowhere boy for the first time and something'd broken in me. those bells scares me… creppy they are. once when I was hanging around with my friends someone put THE song on and I couldn't get back to my normal state for about an hour. it's a shock mixed with a fear and depression stuff. I have a big respect to this song – it always makes me think how grateful should I be for everything which's around me – my familia. I've never listen to it while I'm going to school or doing anything ordinary. it's a special song for a special moments. I treat it with a right respect, having a light in back of the head which remainds the tale of it.
other is dear friend by paul and o children by nick cave. there're also the stories connected to them but I'll write them maybe next time.

Every time I hear either Mother Nature's Son (Take 2) or any song that you can hear either John having a good time or a nice peaceful acoustic song with John's vocals.

Mother Nature's Son (take 2) is Paul on vocal and guitar.
Agree on God . More used to it now but on the first few times it was quite the experience. The music coming to a crashing stop on 'I dont believe in Beatles' and moving into John explaining where he now was and the dream being over. Can still here a million fans hearing that in disbelief and shock and dread (even if that didnt happen).
