Me as well, especially lately. It reminds me of a friend of mine.
You and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead…
Come to think of it, that reminds me of my friend too. We’ve known each other since we were tots, but have grown apart just a bit in recent years. Dear friend, what’s the time? Is this really the borderline? And Now And Then , I miss you…
*snif*
It isn’t as bad as all that, we still see each other occasionally*, but we were a lot closer when we were five.
*No, we’re just good friends.

For me the saddest songs by The Beatles are In My Life , Julia , Real Love and Eleanor Rigby .
In My Life is my favorite song of all time so naturally it makes me tear up. Julia is sad for obvious reasons.
Real Love because of it’s lyrical content and that John had never finished it.
Eleanor Rigby because I can relate to the loneliness.
Other songs that make me tear up are Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd), God (John Lennon ), Kitchen Sink (Twenty One Pilots), Disarm/ Thirty Three (Smashing Pumpkins) and I Know It’s Over/ There Is A Light That Never Goes Out (The Smiths).

I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Oddly enough I find God sadder than Mother , since we’d already heard John sing about his mother.
It’s that moment in God where he’s been listing everything he doesn’t believe in and he goes ‘I don’t believe in Beatles… I just believe in me’.
I’m listening to The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill right now and typing that line still gave me goosebumps.

Yesterday , For No One and Long Long Long have never made me cry, but they’ve come very close and do make me very emotional.
But I remember the night I listened to Ringo’s Photograph and breaking down.
And although this song doesn’t come close to making me cry, Not A Second Time reminds me of troubles I had with someone not too long ago. It does impact my opinion on the song (not as much as before though) but hopefully in about a year or so, I’ll feel differently about this song.

I’ve been known to tear up on the first line of A Day In The Life . Its just so incredible.
Aside from that a Beatles song has never made me cry (althought I don’t think a song has ever made me cry)
I also find God ‘sadder’ then Mother as well, although the lyrics aren’t as sad. The ‘I just believe in me’ line always gets me.
