Intimate conversation overheard during A Day In The Life with Dr. Robert and Lovely Rita :
Rita: Good Morning, Good Morning, Dr. Robert. I Want To Tell You , Ask Me Why I’m Looking Through You , and Tell Me What You See – I would Love You To Tell Me Why You Won’t See Me ? I’ve Got A Feeling There’s A Place , Within You Without You , That Means A Lot to What Goes On In My Life , and though I’m Happy Just To Dance With You , I’m A Loser to pretend I Feel Fine and I’m So Tired that I’ll Get You Anytime At All, Because If I Needed Someone , I Need You !
Dr. Robert: Oh, Darling! I Should Have Known Better that If I Fell For No One The Night Before Yesterday , All My Loving would be Nowhere, Man! You Know What To Do, Don’t Bother Me with No Reply , You Can’t Do That , my Wild Honey Pie , And Your Bird Can Sing Hello Goodbye Across The Universe , but I Will bet The Inner Light the Two Of Us have Something that’s Getting Better . So Don’t Let Me Down , Hold MeTight, we’ll Get Back When I Get Home , and –
Wait ! Why Don’t We Do It In The Road? Please Please Me , Lovely Rita , I Want To Be Your Man! All I’ve Got To Do is give Every Little Thing and-
Rita: Oh, It’s All Too Much , Yes It Is , I Want You to Think For Yourself and make my Long, Long, Long Misery of waiting to Come Together reach The End , you Mean Mr. Mustard…
Dr. Robert: I Will , my sweet Savoy Truffle …

Haha, it was also your shortest post ever, Wildcat!
Well Good Sir, be as cheeky and cracking of wise as you wish; nevertheless, it’s entirely possible to write a complete short story using only The Beatles‘ song Titles alone – given the benefit of also utilising their lyrics? An entire novel.
If it hadn’t been for billyshears posting on this topic (14 months after the last post!), I wouldn’t have been drawn here as soon as I was.
I can’t believe this thread died out as soon as it did, ’cause it’s a fantastic idea! I and my high school best friend could walk two miles home from school and speak to each other only in “[Beatle] song lyric conversation” all the way.
Really, people, give this another try: I’ll start with the lyric line, “When I was younger, so much younger than today..”
Then the next person adds their line, for instance, “All my troubles seemed so far away..” But Wait ! It doesn’t have to rhyme –
one could add a line like, “..protected by a silver spoon..”
followed by, say, “..you know what I mean..” and use any punctuation to end or begin a sentence, or none at all, just as long as every single line is a directly-quoted Beatles lyric, no extra words, or even if it’s just a fragment, like some of the ones above.
Just check in once in awhile, and add on whatever comes to your mind-
sorry if I was a bit over-enthusiastic there, I’m sure all of you have better things to do with your time; since I, of course, do not, I just make impulsive, inconvenient demands upon you on the forum.
Thanks for the compliment, bikelock28

Heh, just poking fun – I do like your long posts! Always something interesting inside them…And your last one is impressive indeed!
Incidentally, there’s another old thread similar to this one, only featuring stories confined to a single album and utilising every song title on said album. Many great entries there:
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Hey, I enjoy it, Von Bontee, I did a literal “laugh out loud” at that comment! I do use way too many words to express a thought, but I really appreciate having the outlet to do it.
There are so many threads here that I’m trying get more familiar with, so I want to be careful not to add a topic that’s already come and gone. If I ever offend anyone, it’s totally unintentional, and I’d rather be corrected early on if it happens than remain ignorant to something that bothers anyone. You can poke fun at me any time!
