Both ‘I Feel Fine ‘ and ‘Day Tripper ‘ have such great intros they are the two songs I use for my daily alarms.

I’ve found that if I make a song my wake up alarm, I slowly begin to hate the song.

I love them coming on, especially at work during a long shift. Great excuse for Beatles.

That must have something to do with the intrinsic hatefulness of alarms. I’ve never had a song alarm, but the sounds used as alarms have begun to carry associations of waking up to alarms, and become more and more loathsome.

The combination of George’s gorgeous falsetto and the perfectly imperfect out-of-sync double-tracking during the ‘I don’t know whyyyyy‘ and ‘I don’t know howwww‘ bits of WMGGW send chills down my spine.
Also the way he emphasises ‘in their starched white shirtsssss‘ in Piggies .

I have yet to understand why, but I always get goosebumps when I hear the final verse of Here Comes The Sun , coming right out of George’s guitar walkup.

I used to have Waka Waka by Shakira and Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey as my morning alarms but I had to change them because it would scare me when they would come on and I did begin to not like them as much, but now they’re still two of my favorite songs.

I used to use Flying as my alarm. It was a horrible idea. I wouldn’t wake up because I would lay back and listen to the song in a daze, and slowly fall back to sleep. I love the run on acoustic guitar at the beginning.
@William Shears Campbell I also slowly began to hate it. I had to change it before it was too late

@sir walter raleigh @Little Piggy Dragonguy yeah, I now just have my alarm as the annoying alarm sound on the iPhone, that way no song gets ruined for me.

You’re very welcome!
John’s strumming trhough “I’m Only Sleeping ” is very similar, very rhythmic.

I’ve always fancied the ending of Lovely Rita , trippy and fun to listen to.
Also the end bits of Happiness Is A Warm Gun , backing vocals singing “Bang Bang, Shoot Shoot”, John’s strong lead vocals, and that ending!
It’s the little things that get ya indeed.

That reminds me, I`ve wanted to set Good Night as an alarm for awhile, though I`ve never done it. That`s the kind of humour I`m getting to strike up, you see.
