Offline Ah so this is song of the day now. Good timing.
This song is very beautiful. 2nd best song on Abbey Road , 5th best song in their catalog, best George song (yes I have a list). I love it a lot.
I thought the LOVE performance of it. It was very beautiful with all the ladies flying in. It doesn’t sound like the music mix for that song is different though.
The remix for the 50th is alright. No major differences, and nothing that I like enough to make me prefer the remix over the version I already know and love. Always been in the camp that a remix for Abbey Road is unnecessary because it’s already perfect.

Offline I decided I wanted to hear this song as I made my tea this morning, so I opened YouTube and “plugged in my headphones.” While listening I was wondering why the audio sounded SO awful, and I have nice headphones so this was out of the ordinary. So I turned up the volume to make it sound better. Also, it’s 5:30 AM. then I realized my headphones weren’t plugged in and I was playing a Beatles song VERY loudly in my kitchen… and completely oblivious to it. My mom and stepdad were asleep and they hate the Beatles. I think they ignored it or didnt hear it because they never said anything to me.
Great song though. I am just going to think about this every time i hear the song.
