Listening to this right now, and have had it on repeat. Such a great song. I remember Paul picking this song as one of his Desert Island discs (he also picked John’s Beautiful Boy,which is another amazing track in my opinion).

Another early Beatles song I had never heard (or even heard of) before — proving yet again how miserably I fail at being a Beatlemaniac!
This one is quite good, to me more cleverly rocking than other early Beatles songs; although I realize they didn’t write it. Paul is obviously doing an Elvis impression — and he’s doing it well. What surprised me is Lennon’s voice, which sounds more Paul-like (unless they double-tracked Paul).
