That slow version of Helter Skelter is AWESOME!! Thanks a lot for sharing. I’m definetly bookmarking your website and spend time exploring it.
Thanks…and enjoy. Actually the site is going to be undergoing some major upgrades pretty soon, so I hope you can stick around long enough to check that out. Joe has given me a few good ideas and I have added a few of my own, if I can just get the time to get things together.

My goodness – I’m in heaven with this lot. The version of What You’re Doing is brilliant to listen to. I’m going to be checking back on that site quite a bit. Cheers Happy Nat

Over my birthday weekend, I took a trip to spend a day with my family (Saturday) and when I was opening a card from my mother she had printed out a page she had taken from this site and inserted it into the card. It was the history page for my birthdate of 15 May 63. I thought that was coincidental since she knew nothing of my recent afiliation here. It was in keeping with a Beatles theme she put on my gifts which included the Trivial Pursuit game (I can’t get anyone I know to play me though), some Beatle playing cards with picture sleeve art, an Abbey Road shirt, etc. That was nice. Joe ,you should feel honored. She hasn’t even been to my own Beatles site.
Anyway I thought I would alert everyone reading to a new BROW post I made this morning. It’s a Lennon acoustic demo that seems to be an early version of You Are Here (the Mind Games LP tune) or it may be better to say that it later became You Are Here after a lot of changes. Those of you familiar with that tune will still probably pick up on that if you check it out. Here’s the link. Enjoy.

Ah, she should have emailed me first. I might have been able to dig up a flyer, some concert footage etc. Happy belated birthday for Saturday!

Thanks, Joe! She’s still a bit new to the Internet and only starting to branch out (with a Facebook account being a big move for her).

Thought I'd post a link here for my latest George Harrison bootleg over at TheBeatlesRarity.com. It's George (possibly but not necessarily w/Ringo, singing about going to visit Badfinger), it's obscure and now it's here.
Also wanted to pass the word here about Fab4Radio. It's a really cool Internet streaming station. You can tune in here. I even have an ad on the station that comes on evey so often for TheBeatlesRarity.com. The station was started up by my friend Ed Rudy who was the only American news reporter to travel with The Beatles on their entire first American tour in 1964 in February 1964, in New York, DC and Miami. He made an album (now quite rare) of interviews with the band called The American Tour With Ed Rudy. was the only American news reporter

Credit where credit is due: Somewhere on this forum I made a post where I mentioned a composing tape I have of John Lennon 's If I Fell and then someone asked me to feature the recording on my site. After using the search just now and digging around I could not find the post. It was a few weeks back as I recall. I was trying to remember who it was that made that request so that I could credit this person on my site because…I am going to feature this on my site in the semi-near future (late next month). So if someone speaks up (and maybe links me to the original post I am remembering) I will credit them for the request. My apologies for not having it on sooner. It's just that I had a lot of requests ahead of it. I'll make a reminder post here and let everyone know when this historic recording is up for playing on my website. In the meantime there is more cool stuff coming up, I promise. http://www.thebeatlesrarity.com.

If you like the John Lennon B-side track Move Over Ms. L, I have a cleaner version of it (when compared with the standard issue) posted for this week's BROW (Beatles Rarity of the Week). It has less brass and dirtier lyrical content. And, of course, some informative background information about this interesting song.

Not sure where to post this so why not here?
I had some of the Get Back Journals as my Get Back discs, ah the joys of hearing Baa Baa Black Sheep is poor quality. On those discs there were some really fun renditions of songs they were trying out and one was She Came In Through The Bathroom Window which i’ve never been able to find it again till now after going thru the takes on A/B Road (9.55) – and low and behold its on youtube (after going thru that as well). And it was on the Black Album.
Sadly the sound quality isn’t the greatest but John’s responses during the third verse are brilliant and a highlight for me of those sessions.
Another fabulous, highly enjoyable Get Back performance is One After 909 (28.53) with John messing it up as he was prone to do.
