No iPod, but I do have a 4gb mp3 player and two 32 gb micro sd cards for it. All Beatles. Would you call that obsessive/dedicated? The only time I listen to something else is when I’m driving my car that has XM radio. When I drive the other car, I play my mp3 player through the car stereo. I find myself desiring to drive the non–XM car more and more. I have 45 years of listening to catch up on.
I don’t know how to check # of listens on it. I’ll do some research.

Is it kept solely for Beatle and solo Beatle music?# of plays should be a column available to display in whatever programme you use to sync your music.
I only have this one mp3 player, and it is solely for Beatles and solo music. When I get a chance I’ll see if I can figure out the number of listens.

Then yes.

to mmm: It knows the right album art. I know this because on my desktop iTunes, everything is right (except for the annoying Something In The Way being on a different copy of Nevermind). Also the cover displays correctly on the little thumbnails on my iPod, it’s just the large album art on the iPod while the song is actually playing.
Also it’s been not actually putting songs on the iPod, at first it was my new ripped CDs and a few tracks from Abbey Road and A Hard Day’s Night , and now it’s Venus And Mars and Rock Show. It shows a little dotted line circle next to it.
Is there a better thread for this, by the way? I put it here because it relates to iTunes, but it’s not actually the thread’s purpose.

Do you have a separate ipod for Beatles music? That would be dedicated fan behaviour.
Yes, I do. It’s an 80 gig iPod named Beatles Friend and so far it has 53 gig of Beatles-related music.

Faceo, the artwork might be down to the individual track having different artwork to the displayed album thing. Apple hides things. For instance Flaming Pie would have the right album cover and would show up right everywhere but I Love This House, in the album folder, had something completely different and that was showing up on my ipod. Changing the individual song would fix it but i just did the whole album.
The songs that wont sync, are they playing in itunes when you click on them? The song file might have got lost/deleted/become faulty and need to be found manually or re-added to your library.
Have you tried the suggestion for fixing Something In The Way. I had a massive fight with If I Fell which itunes insisted for a good long time that it was not to belong to all the other A Hard Days Night and what i posted above finally fixed it.
Feel free to PM me if you want about this.
Expert Textpert, that is some serious impressive Beatles ipod.

It looks like this, and it’s also like this for multiple songs from Abbey Road and Venus And Mars . Oh, and both the Abbey Road and Anthology 3 versions of The End . Which, probably not coincidentally also happen to be the two albums I’m having album cover problems with.
EDIT AFTER SEEING MMM’S POST: Ah, that’s what’s interesting. They’re in the iTunes library on the computer, they’re just not syncing to the iPod.
DOUBLE EDIT AFTER FOLLOWING MMM’S SUGGESTION: Well, it’s not exactly what you said, but apparently Something In The Way was filed under Nevermind by Various Artists. All I had to do was switch the artist to Nirvana and it joined right back up with its buddies on regular Nevermind. And from now on I’ll PM you, this isn’t what the thread’s for, I apologize.

Well this isn’t 100% accurate for my Beatles stuff because last year it all got accidentally deleted out of iTunes, then put back on so everything reset again. Still mostly makes sense though:
These are the first Beatles songs to show up on the most played list (there is one wings in between that snuck in):
My Paul/Wings collection never got deleted so this is my top 5 for that (the ones right at the top):
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

You might be the first person I’ve met who likes “Single Pigeon” as much as I do.
As for my most played Beatles song, it’s “Long, Long, Long ” with 268 plays. I can’t listen to that song on its own without repeating it 3 or 4 times, so I thought it would be higher.
How could I ever have lost you when I loved you?
