I’ve been on messageboards (maybe this one??) where folks are annoyed by having the two consecutive songs with “la la la” backup vocals

Whoever wrote ‘Revolution In The Head’ was annoyed at the placement of those two songs due to the “oh la la la” backing vocals.

3 Pauls and a George
I need to make sure you see
What you mean to me.
Scared
That the simplest of words won’t come out of my mouth
Though I’m dying to set them free
Trying to let you see, how much it means to me
How much you mean to me
How much you mean to me now
Nothing for Free
I wanna tell you what it means to me
I love you every way and now
So, come on back and see
Just what you mean to me

Can I request a selection of lyrics where the Beatles find it increasingly difficult to do things.
“Its Easy”
John – All You Need Is Love
“Well I tell them theres no problems, only solutions”
-John – Watching The Wheels
“You Know It Don’t Come Easy”
-Ringo – It Don’t Come Easy
“Whats often in your heart is the hardest thing to reach”
George – The Answers At The End
But Its So Hard
-John – Its So Hard
Wasnt able to get Paul in here, though I’m sure theres something that would work well

George and his weather phenomena. I wonder if he mentioned the weather more than other Beatles, or if they’re matched? That might be an interesting study.

Dunno if it’s been mentioned before (probably has), but it’s notable that on the rooftop, Paul and John first sing “I’d hate to miss the train…”; and then immediately follow that song up with a song all about missing a train!

Bended Knee(s)
Well, I beg you on my bended knees
If you’ll only listen to my pleas
We’ll make the scene about a man that’s sad and lonely
And begging down upon his bended knee
I begged her not to go and I begged her on my bended knees
Nothin’ Shakin’
I’m begging for her kisses on a bended knee
Beautiful Dreamer
Beautiful dreamer, come on baby, wake up to me
Can’t you see me baby, I’m down on bended knee

White Album : Two songs in, John promises us that “the birds will sing”; and one album side later we get to hear them, on a song of Paul’s.

OK, this is kinda cool (if suggestive of wheel-spinning): In ’64 Beatles release three consecutive singles containing a total of *four* songs in which our boys sing of buying rings/things!
