I’m interested to know, if you could book the Beatles to play an 8 song concert and you choose the songs and order played, which ones would you choose? Here’s the catch… you can only pick 2 songs for each of them to sing. The songs can be from any period of their Beatles career. What would your setlist look like? If any of your songs have dual lead singers, you choose who it is attributed to. Here’s mine:
1. Taxman (GH)
2. Oh! Darling (PM)
3. With A Little Help From My Friends (RS)
4. Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey (JL)
5. Don’t Pass Me By (RS)
6. Savoy Truffle (GH)
7. Get Back (PM)
8. I Want You (She’s So Heavy) (JL)
I could be tempted to switch out #4 with Come Together or Happiness Is A Warm Gun . I could also be tempted to switch out #5 with Octopus’s Garden , but for now, that’s the setlist that I would go with.

My ideal Beatles concert would probably be a stripped down set of them playing loud, raucous versions of their heaviest songs, preferably in a small venue like the Cavern. According to your rules, though:
Back In The USSR (Paul)
Come Together (John)
Octopus’s Garden (Ringo)
Helter Skelter (Paul)
While My Guitar Gently Weeps (George)
I Wanna Be Your Man (Ringo)
Savoy Truffle (George)
Twist And Shout (John)

Blistered Fingers, IzzyMissLizzyI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.
