Remixed, edited and destroyed by Geoff Emerick for the unreleased 80’s ‘Sessions’ album. The echoed oh oh guitar bits are brilliant in being so laughably wretched, the actual opening verse has for some reason been entirely exorcised – no wonder Apple decided to create a new remix for ‘Anthology 2 ‘.

I just got around to listening to it and it’s not that bad but one question, where’s Paul’s guitar part. The handwritten notes make it clear that Paul played a guitar part on his Epiphone Casino but all I can hear is John’s Fender rhythm guitar, George’s Gretsch lead guitar (possibly double tracked), and George’s Fender guitar solo.
If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

I listened to this yesterday and thought the music was great, bar the awful ‘oh oh’ guitar part a lot is going on which is interesting; what ruins it is the lyrics.
You think I’m soft in the head
Well try someone softer instead anything (note: isn’t the lyric “pretty thing”)
It’s not so funny
When you know what money can bring…You better leave me alone,
I don’t need a thing from you
You better take yourself home
Go and count a ring or two
I take it Paul and John were stoned when writing this and thought it was decent when suggesting it to Ringo.
