It's my favorite song on AR. The build up to me is so hypnotizing. It reminds me a bit of A Day In The Life . Both songs just end in the most phenomenal ways. I love the flow into Here Comes The Sun . Though the lyrics are minimal, it's the melody that really sets the song. I also love playing it on Beatles Rock band. The song is so long that when I was singing it on the game, I was able to go to the bathroom and come back and the song would still be going.
I would also like to mention Ringo's drumming is amazing on it. Great fills.
And that riff, amazing.
And then the Moog just creates this haunting feel.
And the vocals. John's last “Yeahhhh” is like amazing as well.
And Billy's piano playing…
And….
ok I'm done. I just really love this song.
Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

I couldn't agree more. This is also my favorite song off Abbey Road .

The first time I listened to it, my heart stopped and got scared. Then I got really confused. I was wondering if my CD was defected. Then I heard the opening chords of Here Comes The Sun , and everything was better.
Thanks Beatles for causing me heart arrhythmias and euphoria at the same time.

Not to toot my own horn, but I've listened to this song so much that I know when the abrupt ending is going to happen.

Go ahead and tell it.
Yay! Ok this happend not too long ago.
It was a late summer's night. I am a bit of an insomniac and I couldent sleep to save my life. it was 11pm. I leaned over to my nightstand to find that my water cup was empty. Doing as I normally would, I went into my brothers bathroom (which has a sink) and when I turned on the light, out comes a Water beetle as big as your thumb! I was paralyzed by fear for all of 3 min. When I finally came to my senses I decided not to use that sink, so I decided I should go downstairs instead. I went down all of my 23 stairs in total darkness and turned on the kitchen light only to find two even bigger beetles scurring acrosss the floor! I stepped back so fast it would make your head spin! After my heart rate went down, I dicided just to use the downstairs bathroom sink. I went into the room you must go through to to get to the bahroom and a beetle bigger than the others crawls right past my foot! I ran to the hall and decided right quick that I didn't need any water after all. As I ran through the hall the beetles were running up and down the hall. I flew up those stairs faster that I ever thought I could, and ran ito my room and slept.
Luckily this was just a freak accident, it has never happend again. It was stormy out and they were just trying to seek shelter.
This, i'm positive will never happen again.

Being a fan of repetitive music, I quite enjoy the song. It's maybe not my absolute favorite on AR, but it's in the top 3. I don't think any song showcases the talent that they were as musicians better than this song, Ringo is just incredible, Paul's incredible, the guitars are fantastic, the synthesizer and abrupt ending are just great. The solo is definitely my favorite from the Beatles catalogue, I'm not sure who plays it though, but I do agree that it sounds like it should be in a Bond movie. John's YEEEAAAHHHHH is just awesome. Maybe it is my favorite now that I'm thinking about it.

That's the best way to describe the song LOL!!
And that's a TRULY scary story Pru! It's hard to believe, but there are bad beetles. I think your reaction was a good one.
Now that song makes me feel like smoking. I don't do it, but still makes me do it.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

John plays the guitar solo in this song.

It's definitely not my favorite song on Abbey Road , but when I listen to the entire album, I don't skip it. I like predicting the ending. 😀
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.
