OK I'm doing this crazy thing to decorate my classroom for Valentine's  Day. Since I think Valentine's Day is now just an excuse to spend money and feel miserable if you don't have a date, I want to send a little message to my students. So I'm having a banner with the lyrics of “All You Need Is Love ” around my classroom. I was toying with this idea for long time and I want to do it.

But I need help. I'm adding all the “All You Need Is Love ” at the end. I mean,

All You Need Is Love (all together now)

All You Need Is Love (everybody)

All You Need Is Love , love, love is all you need.

And then the repetition starts… I'm counting 17 times that John sings Love is all you need, then he before Paul sings “oh yeah… she loves you yeah yeah yeah”

Am I right? a-hard-days-night-ringo-12

Edit : Ok this is the final part.

All You Need Is Love (all together now)

All You Need Is Love (everybody)

All You Need Is Love , love, love is all you need.

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (ye-hah)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

(something I don't get)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (love is all you need)

Love is all you need (oh yeah, she loves you yeah yeah yeah, she loves you yeah yeah yeah)

What is it said there?

Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……

Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…

Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

Beware of Darkness…

You mean 17 times between John and then the others echoing? Or 17 times of just John?

What does this say about me that I now want to find out for myself? a-hard-days-night-paul-1 All in the name of scientific research, of course!

My scientific conclusion: way more than 17. It faded out for me around 20 (again counting the whole call and reponse thing), and then I heard it maybe 5 more times off and on.

Good thing I don't work with nitroglycerin.

I hear sixteen, with one of them really only half – he misses “love is all” on one, so fifteen and a half?

Well I don't think there will be a student that makes me play the song and counts how many “love is all you need” there are in the banner.

But what does John say 2 lines before Paul sings “She loves you yeah yeah yeah”??? a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

Edit : Skye, you're right. They're 15 and a half. I'm going with this number. (I don't count the fading after she loves you yeah yeah yeah)

Edit 2 : And Mith's Skye's and Star's new post in “What are you listening to now?” is….. All You Need Is Love ! LOL!! Thank you guys!

Edit 3 : Sorry Star I didn't answer. Yes, 17 with John and the echoing.

Mith, I forgot to mention earlier that this is a great Idea!! Play All You Need Is Love in the background in all your classes

Umb.. oh you're right I mean I posted it as if I said Bruce Lee was not handsome.. but he was very good looking!!! I'm a huge fan of The Green Hornet tv show. And because of watching Bruce Lee movies in the theater in the 70s, I got a soft spot for Jackie Chan in his 80s pre-Hollywood, Tony Leung and Chow Yun-Fat.

Chow Yun-Fat. Boy, I get excited like a girl watching the Beatles when I see his movies, the man has a huuuge charisma and he's very good looking. A Better Tomorrow, Hard Boiled and The Killer are among my all time favorite films. The Replacement Killers is one of my guilty pleasures. Yes I know, there's something sinester on me for liking all these Hong Kong gangster movies. a-hard-days-night-ringo-12

I didn't think you meant it that way, just that I would be happy to find either under the mask. (A little more for John, but it would be close!) I'm not sure if I've seen those movies. I need to look them up.

If you like action police-cop movies, then go for them. Hard Boiled is just ridiculous but it's an amazing film. The Killer and A Better Tomorrow are simply masterpieces. Actually A Better Tomorrow's visuals inspired Quentin Tarantino, look.

Easy, easy… These guys can kick your ass, chop you into molecules, burn your house, kill your dog, parents, relatives you don't see in decades and then kill you again.

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.
