I would love for them to have another number 1. Then maybe people would shutup about the Beatles being old and outdated.
We should get Revolution 9 to be number 1. That would be funny.
Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

I know! Why don't we make their songs availible for digital download shortly before Christmas, in order to create a run off between the Beatles and the X Factor?
Oh.
(FWIW, Let It Be got to 23rd iirc)
I told her I didn’t

Now And Then would be the more obvious single choice. Good choices Joe.

I'd certainly jump at the chance to purchase “Carnival Of Light “, even if it required me to pay for a digital file (for the first time ever!) Otherwise, why bother? Number ones don't equal greatness, and anyways they've already got more of them then any band ever has or ever will – unless the cast of “Glee” is magically considered to be a “group”, in which case the Beatles are already #2, and you have to just laugh at the ridiculousness.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Sorry Zig, but I LOVED those Archies records! (Some of 'em anyways.) At the very least, they were good for a fine Greatest Hits collection.
(But then I love all sorts of disposable bubblegum stuff from the era and refuse to apologize for it. ) (And I'll bet that if I bothered to listen to present-day the radio at all, odds are I'd hear the occasional enjoyable hit by Jonas Bieber or whoever)

The only good current music comes from Alternative Bands.
