My favorite is Michelle .
Its the song that introduced me to the fab four, and I will forever be grateful

How impossible! Some of the early stuff is my favorites, “A Hard Day's Night,” “Can't Buy Me Love,” “No Reply ,” “The Night Before ,” and – of course – John's throat tearing version of “Twist And Shout .”
But if I had to vote for one, it would be “The Fool On The Hill .” Paul said that this was written about the Mahareshi, but I think it was written about John. Paul was watching as John was losing control, becoming drug-addled and incapable of creating the music that Paul knew was in him. Listen to the lyrics again, think about the different places in life Paul and John were in when they recorded this in 1967 and I think you will see I am not crazy. As for the Alastair Taylor story about the vanishing man on the hill, well… I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.

This is really hard but really easy at the same time. My favorite songs are Hey Bulldog , I Am The Walrus , One After 909 and You Know My Name (Look Up The Number). Wow, I just realized that their best era is the end.
Without going out of my door, I can know all things on Earth

This is an extremely hard question! Nonetheless, here is my current (and I stress current) top ten:
3) Two Of Us
4) For No One
5) Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
6) Cry Baby Cry
7) Piggies
8) You've Got To Hide Your love Away
9) I've Got A Feeling
10) Dear Prudence
2.20am
1. Two of Us
3. Everybody's got something to hide except me and my monkey
4. I've got a feeling
5. In My Life
10. You Never Give Me Your Money
That's my list as of now…
It's funny how both those top 10s have songs that wouldn't even be in my top 100. Not that there's a right or wrong to any of this – it's great that The Beatles appealed in so many different ways.
I'll have to think about my top 10 now. Very much off the top of my head, here's a list.
- A Day In The Life
- Strawberry Fields Forever
- Something
- I Am The Walrus
- If I Fell
- I Feel Fine
- Rain
- This Boy
- Happiness Is A Warm Gun
- Here, There And Everywhere
…which isn't to say I don't love Revolution or Sexy Sadie or I'm Only Sleeping or Tomorrow Never Knows or Come Together or Twist And Shout or And Your Bird Can Sing or I Should Have Known Better or dozens of others. I do – they've been with me for so long it's hard to choose between them.
For anyone who needs some inspiration, here's my list of songs they've commercially released (plus a few others).

My recent top ten I think is just concerned with songs that have recently somehow had an epiphany with me- like I've realized something about it or how it's sung or a particularily excewllent drum fill… it all varies.
I don't think I'll ever have a solid favourite, I never grow tired of any songs (except perhaps From Me To You and Little Child , I find them both almost unbearable) But, saying that, I do happen to have at least ten songs that I've been listening to as of late, all Beatles songs are my favourites, they just have their days with me.
Helter Skelter (It's Paul's wailing, too much!)
Polythene Pam (I'm starting to pay more attention to John's hilarious and despised-by-Mimi scouse he sings with in this song)
Kansas City / Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey (The hey, hey, heys are too good! Perfect pitch, brimming with laughter!)
You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)
I've just recently downloaded this song, and it has to be one of my favourites of the Beatles collection. So clever, so funny, so adorable! I can just imagine their lighthearted happiness while recording it, if only there were a video of the recording!
Money (In my opinion one of John's sexiest vocals. Oh, the growling and shrieking. I'm just another vicim of theirs, aren't I?)
All I've Got to Do (Something about the melody of the chorus makes me love it, anyone else adore the phrasing?)
Well, tune in next week folks, as it's going to change next week, I assure you!
Tongue, lose thy light. Moon, take thy flight… see ya, George!

It isn’t really troublesome to me to pick ten songs. Over the years, after a lot of listening, I may say I’m quite sure of this following list.
OK, my Top Ten:
- Sexy Sadie
- Happiness Is A Warm Gun
- Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey
- Revolution (single)
- Hey Bulldog
- Come Together
- Day Tripper
- Ticket To Ride
- Get Back
- Something
John Lennon . Man, I really love this guy…
I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

Don’t think about it too hard. When you think of the Beatles songs, which one comes to you first as being your favorite? For me, it’s easy, Norwegian Wood .

Martha My Dear … gah!
I always feel if I actually admit a favourote song, I come to regret it in a few days as one has replaced it by then! But, I dunno, this one lasts for me- it’s a song I can literally listen to many times in a row and not tire of it.
Grrrrr… we need an ultimate top 20 list…

Hi ,
another song I love is ‘Tomorrow Never Knows ‘, it’s brilliant. They got the idea for song from the Tibetan ‘Book of the Dead’ and do the ‘Mantra chant’ through it. I believe it was largely George’s influence through his interest in Eastern Mystic music.

You’ve gotten me hooked on Martha My Dear with the amount of times you’ve posted about it. It is probably my favorite on disc one now. And yeah it’s a tough question, but the first three I thought of were Norwegian Wood , Sun King and Ticket To Ride so at least I have it narrowed down a bit…I think.

Welcome Mal!
I have always thought Tomorrow Never Knows was one of the coolest Beatles songs! I have an even crazier mix of it. The standard mono and stereo mixes of this track are quite similar to
each other, however this mix has a louder vocal track by John, which is heard
more clearly over the effects. The fade-out is also slightly longer on
this version and there is some piano heard in the fade-out that is not
apparent on the common versions. The effects are also faded up a bit
differently. This version was actually released on a select first few editions of the British Revolver (mono) LP. Check it out here if you like.
Bringing you the best and worst of The Beatles, since 2007.
Good Day Sunshine , definitley.
The song reflects my positive views upon everything. And of course, I absolutely love sunny days!
Pssst, sunny days are the best time to meditate…

Sun King is most definetly my favourite in the medley… in my top 5 favourite too!
