Made this ranking video a while back which featured a nice collection of rare beatles photos and a well thought out ranking which displayed all my favourite fragments of my favourite fab 4 tunes. Although sad to see it only has 34 views, do you guys mind giving some feedback about the choices and the quality of the video at hand?
Cheers

I am relatively new on this great site, and NOT one whose opinion should hold any great weight, but I’m awake, I came across your topic, I love talking Beatles, and take whatever you want from this, because opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one:
your choices are excellent, they don’t need defending, but I think you want to use the word ‘BIASED’ instead of ‘BASED’ in your title, as if you’re admitting these are your own personal choices, you have a bias towards them- otherwise, good title.
For each song you introduce, there’s only one accompanying photo displayed throughout the entire song fragment – some of them are great, like that vibrant-colored ‘Abbey Road ‘ pic shown during ‘Sun King ‘. But some of them seem out of place, or unrelated, to some songs, like the late-period Beatles pic shown with ‘And Your Bird Can Sing ‘, a song from their mid-period. The main thing in videos is that the images need to come and go, one right after the other, so you keep the eye’s attention as well as the ear’s.
Fading the sound in and out between song selections is okay, but the silences are too long, and they don’t allow the music to flow uninterrupted- it’s also more noticable when one picture switches to the next during those silences.
I love the photos accompanying ‘Within You Without You ‘ and ‘Baby You’re A Rich Man ‘, as well as the songs themselves. The sound and video quality is fine throughout. But you shouldn’t play any one song part longer than the others- the ‘She’s Leaving Home ‘ segment goes way longer than the other ones, and it makes the listener anxious to hear the next song instead of enjoying the one that’s playing.
Overall, it’s an entertaining video, as good as the majority of Beatles ‘tribute’ videos, and trust me, you’ll get a lot more views the longer you keep it up. You should definitely make some more!
