Revolution 9 is the only one and I got kinda freaked the first time I heard I Am The Walrus , but I love that song now. Other than that, I absolutely adore their songs, especially the psychedelic ones.

I used to listen to my CDs to fall asleep and Tomorrow Never Knows would always make me scared to close my eyes!

Revolution 9 , (the obvious answer) probably because I was listening to it at night (that was a mistake) especially if it is backwards.
The others never really spooked me out, but they’re creepy in a way, like Blue Jay Way , The new Mary Jane, Helter Skelter , Tomorrow Never Knows and the ends of Long, Long, Long and Cry Baby Cry ,

No, can’t say any of the music ever spooked me. I do dislike some of them (don’t shoot me) and I just don’t listen to them. Revolution 9 was probably the first to go, followed by Blue Jay Way . Those tunes do nothing for me, and neither do George’s sitar songs. I like the sitar in moderation; Norwegian Wood is pretty cool. But anyway, I don’t think I’ve ever been spooked by their music.

I absolutely love George’s sitar songs. How come it does ‘nothing’ to you?

That would be like asking someone why they don’t like broccoli, wouldn’t it? It’s a matter of taste. My taste in music is quite diverse, but some things just don’t touch my heart.

Blue Jay Way creeped me out big time the first time I heard it.
It’s still a little spooky but in a more pleasant way now. Especially knowing how mundane the lyrical content of the song actually is.
The LOVE version of Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite is kinda creepy. Like a fairground where something terrible has happened.

I haven’t listened to Love yet. Your vivid description of Kite makes me want to say far away from it, @Tuesday. Welcome to the Beatles Bible. I’m glad you have joined us. Let us know what we can do to help you find your way around the site.

I love it. I have an uncontrollable urge to deeply cackle MWAHAHAHAHA at the waltz of doooom.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

@Ahhh Girl It’s worth a listen at some point. The imagery of the actual cirque was what made LOVE of course but there are still some really nice mixes in there.
The Mr. Kite one was actually perfect for what was going on on the stage. But yeah, after a couple of verses it chains in the tune from She’s So Heavy and eventually the end of the song erupts into a combo of She’s So Heavy and Helter Skelter . Maybe it’s the imagery at LOVE that spooked me but this mix is definitely more eerie than the original.
Other LOVE mixes that gave me chills were the slowed down A Capella version of Because and also the orchestrated While My Guitar Gently Weeps (that said I prefer the originals of both WMGGW features beautiful acoustic vocals along with eerie violin but it was weird hearing him talking about his guitar weeping when there was no guitar in the mix)

i had a cassette copy of my Abbey Road vinyl and used to listen to the whole album with my walkman in the bed at night, when going to sleep…i couldn’t help feeling a bit scared in the final crescendo of “I want you…”…in the dark with all those white noises and wind effects…
Anyway i loved the track and still do. Brilliant, brilliant…

I think the lesson to be learned here is don’t play Beatles music at night.

I’m A Loser sends chills down my spine, I don’t know why. It’s like the feeling you get when you hear a song you haven’t heard since infancy that has some unremembered memory attached to it, like a forgotten dream. Very peculiar sensation. I love it.
That’s it though… other than that, I’m never spooked by Beatlesongs, even the weird ones.

In college, in 1982, my roommate and I had a turntable and played Revolution 9 backwards, and heard the “Turn Me On Dead Man.” It was late at night and a chill in the air. We had the window open. Just as “Turn Me On Dead Man” started to wail over the speakers, a breeze picked up from the window and enhanced our gooseflesh, totally creeping the both of us out. Both of our responses as we looked at each other was a nervous laugh with bugged-out eyes.
We also played I Am The Walrus backwards, and the “Oompah Oompah stick it up your jumper” chorus towards the end also creeped us out, because it seems to say “Pa-a-a-a-ul is d-e-e-e-e-ad.”
Turntables can be so much fun!

Revolution 9 – The supposed “car crash” part with the distorted horn left me sleepless as a youngster!
Long Long Long’s ending is rather mortifying.
Blue Jay Way was a real spooker. But it’s one of my favorite Harrison songs!
A Day In The Life ‘s orchestral build ups were too much for little ol’ Magill when he was young. In case you didn’t know, I am indeed a male. Despite Magill being a female in Rocky Raccoon .
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds sounded super trippy in the pre-chorus. Especially when John sings “heeaaadd”. It spooked me.
Tomorrow Never Knows is… something else.
Strawberry fields’ ending.
