The tune however does little for me. I never liked it all those years ago when I first played ‘Beatles For Sale ‘ and knew next to nothing about the Beatles and I still don’t. Difficult to describe why, some songs just don’t hit people as being of any good, importance or relevance.
I’ve had the same struggles with the album myself. I don’t think you have to love all Beatles songs to appreciate their talent. The positive for Eight Days A Week is that it turned out so well given it was just a workaday song to the composers and many fans.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Really? Eight Days A Week ? We loved it. Still do. 1. Because of the memories, and 2. We saw it as a singalong song to sing around the camp fire. So many of their tunes were rockers or ballads. But this one was easy. Ya just can’t sing This Land is Your Land or Kumbaya every time somebody lights a camp fire. Just a fun tune. Honest!
Back off, he growled, pulling out his Revolver . Muaahahaha!
