3:02-3:12 Paul can be heard doing a faint falsetto “ooo” harmony above John’s more prominent “aah’s”.
This by no means settles our debate as it is not what I consider to be an “official” source. I just thought is was funnier than owl droppings that this was one of the very first entries on that site.
That’s crueller than mocking a Canadian with hockey right now. Don’t bring it up, please.

I thought it might be interesting to discuss this website and its content:
http://wgo.signal11.org.uk/wgo.htm
For starters, the All You Need Is Love – She Loves You thing: It’s a great article, bound to interest people who aren’t sure who sings it, but I don’t understand why anyone would think it’s John.

(Not intending to start another A Day In The Life “aah”s thread- if anyone thinks that the conversation [that I hope will happen] is leaning towards that, feel free to change the subject! Or change the subject before it even starts!)

Egroeg, it’s difficult to see, but if you look at this original footage of All You Need Is Love on Our World, John can be clearly see at around 6:14 doing the “Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!” I’ve never thought anyone other than John. It’s his sarcastic, mocking tone, and the footage backs it up!

I agree there’s two voices, but I think it’s Paul joining in with John rather than the other way ’round.

I think there may be a thread elsewhere for this website. I don’t know though. Did you do an advanced search?
There was one, but an A Day In The Life discussion was mentioned, and I didn’t want to bring it up… although I sorta did in the first post of this thread… sorry.

There IS a thread referencing this website, if I could only remember what it’s called. “Strange Things in Beatle Recordings” or some such…I dunno…
I’m not sure, but I think a lot of the anomalies written about on that site are no longer relevent, because they relate to the first wave of compact discs, and many things were corrected on the remasters?
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Just before the middle “tit tit tit tit” part in Girl, I don’t know if it’s just my imagination, but I can hear a very, very faint bit of banter, like George or Paul saying “tit” followed by a tiny bit of laughter.
Oh my god your right

Help ! I need somebody…
This is not so much “Can anyone else hear this?”, but rather “Can anyone hear what he says?”.
At about 6 to 7 seconds in, behind the lyrics “I told you ’bout Strawberry Fields…” John says something that sounds like “I told you ’bout Bungalow Bill” or “spent Acker Bilk” or something that sounds like a combination of both. I’ve listened to it ad nauseum through noise cancelling headphones, ear buds, isolating the right channel (which is where it is) and I can not make out what it is.
What say you?
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Listening to the individual second vocal track it sounds like Lennon gibberish to me where he is unsure what the vocal is meant to be, isnt ready or just being John and not being serious; he cuts off before finishing the line. He then sings the next line “well here’s a place you know just is real” correctly.

I love it at the end of All You Need Is Love , when you hear Paul start singing a TINY bit of Yesterday , and then he sings She Loves You ! It makes me laugh!!
Actually, if you watch the music videos on the new 1 album, it’s John who sings the She Loves You part.
