I've been listening to Paperback Writer and I think that's one of Paul's finest vocals.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.
Beware of Darkness…
I listened to the White Album a couple of days ago and was struck by how incredible Lennon’s vocals were. I think he reached a peak on that record.

Was that before or after the pizza & wine?
Yeah, when you mentioned you were opening B-day presents to the strains of Yer Blues , it reminded me of John's “wooh!”'s in that song. As in, “…if I ain't dead already – wooh! – girl you know the reason why.”
I really enjoy his louder lyrics…YB, Twist And Shout , Money, etc… It's as if he's singing/shouting/growling at the same time. Jim Morrison had the same quality IMO.

I love George's vocal on Something (Anthology 3 ), and on Long Long Long.
As if it matters how a man falls down.'
'When the fall's all that's left, it matters a great deal.
Zig – before and after. On songs such as Happiness Is A Warm Gun and I’m So Tired he goes from subtlety to soaring in the space of a second. Just stunning.

I love John's vocals on Happiness Is A Warm Gun . It's probably my favorite Beatles song. I love his haunting vocals on Cry Baby Cry , too, even though he claimed to dislike the song.

Okay, my favorite Lennon vocal: Dear John from the John Lennon Anthology. Absolutely haunting.

I totally agree with you. I can't go through that album without being amazed by John.

My favorite part of that song is the bit when he screams “I’m GOING INSANE!”
Favorite Starbucks drink: Chai, baby, Chai.
I was thinking about “I wonder should I call you, but I know what you would do”. The melody is wonderful.

I always sing at the top of my lungs… “Sir Walter Raleigh he was such a stupid GIT!” Love it.
That's when I can't just hate Yoko. She truly inspired John.

His “ooooooohhh yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh” from Glass Onion always shocks me, especially coming off the tenderness of Dear Prudence . And his vocals on Sexy Sadie are just awesome, try and sing it, it's like impossible.

I thought about Sexy Sadie as well Gnik – nice one. It is very hard to go from a low tone to a falsetto like he does in that song.

I love John’s “growly” voice on the italicized area.
“Iiiiiiiiiiiiii thought that you would realize that if I ran away from you, that you would want me too.”
And the “come on” 's in Please Please Me .

You have all made excellent points since my last post. I agree with every one of them! Seriously, now I have an itch to listen to some good Lennon vocals. Going for “Good Morning Good Morning ” right now. 🙂 I love his voice in that song.
I’m also going to throw “Dig A Pony ” into the mix of good songs up for discussion, for the John/Paul chorus harmonies. Love it.

Dig A Pony is a good one. I’ll throw You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away into the mix and say it can’t be beat, unless someone can convince me otherwise.

Paul: All My Loving , For No One & I’m Down
George: While My Guitar Gently Weeps & Roll Over Beethoven
Ringo: Octopus Garden& Don’t Pass Me By
After I took it, it opened my eyes. We only use one-tenth of our brain. Just think what we could all accomplish if we could only tap that hidden part. It would mean a whole new world. If the politicians would take LSD, there wouldn't be any more War or poverty or famine.
