M3 – Thanks for sharing number nineteen hundred and eighty-five with me. My number 1000 was wasted on a sigh of frustration.
mr. S – You seem to have a fixation on Mary Tyler Moore. The show you are referring to is the Dick Van Dyke show. Oh, the hijinx that occurred weekly at 148 Bonnie Meadow Road!
BOT: I've been listening to All Things Must Pass a lot lately. I really enjoy George's voice on all of the songs with the possible exception of the redone My Sweet Lord .
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

I like the way John sings “Rock And Roll Music .” Also the opening (JUST THE OPENING) of a certain song. George Martin head for anyone who can guess!
(Yes, I'm listening to Beatles For Sale . Why do you ask?)
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Well… “Twist And Shout ” is a pretty amazing vocal. Even if it made John lose his voice.

John: If I Fell /Twist And Shout .
If I Fell , is just a good song, and John has a good voice for it. Twist And Shout , I love the ripping vocals!!!
Paul: Yesterday /Why don't we do it in the road/Maxwell's silver hammer/ I've just seen a face.
Sorry for picking so many on Paul but I'll explain: Yesterday , because his voice is so soothing… Why don't we do it in the road, because I never knew he could have vocals like that! Maxwell's silver hammer, because of the part “So he stayed behind, Writing fifty lines I must not be so-o-o-o…”…. I've just seen a face, because I did not know he could go that fast, and the song is cute. Ok? CUTE!
Ringo: Act Naturally .
Just an all-in-all good song with a cute drummer boy singing!! uhhh…Let's pretend I didn't just type that…heh..heh..
George: It's all too much.
Just because! I like the line “The whole world is birthday cake, so take a peice but not too much”…I love it!

I wanted to post in this thread right after I saw it, but didn’t want to make some hasty choices and then change them later. After some consideration, I’ve come to my decisions. (I’ll probably change them anyway. You know how it goes.)
Original: You’re Gonna Lose That Girl (Great range and character)
Cover: Please, Mr. Postman (Just perfect. Perfect, I tell you!)
Original: You Never Give Me Your Money * (You’ve got high-pitched, gentle, innocent Paul at the beginning and low-pitched, soulful, strong Paul at the end.)
Cover: Long Tall Sally (I love the beginning when his voice screeches!)
Original: Long, Long, Long (The way he sings the soft part goes perfectly with the lazy-sounding guitar and the airy vibe. I’m not too crazy about the primal moaning at the end but, hey, that’s just me.)
Cover: Nothin’ Shakin’ (Love the energy.)
Original: With A Little Help From My Friends (To be honest, I don’t like Ringo’s vocals much at all – please don’t throw rocks at me! – but I like this song of his the best.)
Cover: Act Naturally (Because I had to pick something. They all sound the same to me … Sorry, Ringo! I do love you!)
Original: I’ll Be on My Way** (I love the harmony for the chorus and the two voices singing right along side each other for the verses.)
Cover: Soldier of Love (This just feels right, at the moment. It might be because I’m partial to the song anyway.)
* Helter Skelter is a close second.
** All I’ve Got to Do is another close second.
Favorite Starbucks drink: Chai, baby, Chai.

John: God
Paul: Let Em In
George: If Not For You
Ringo: Oh My My.

There's probably a better spot for this, but Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End/Her Majesty, voices only.
Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!
