Gonna cheat and give John and Paul two apiece: one rocker, one ballad. (Really though, I'd have to give those guys a dozen-or-so each, in order for me not to feel guilty for leaving something out…)
John: Rock And Roll Music , You've Got To Hide Your Love Away
Paul: Helter Skelter , Here There And Everywhere
George: Here Comes The Sun
Ringo: Honey Don't
also…
John & Paul – Baby's In Black
John, Paul & George – If I Needed Someone
And a special nod to the backing-vocal arrangement of “You Won't See Me”. And the usual reminder that most of these answers could change on any given day.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

John- She Said She Said , A Day In The Life , Julia , Nowhere Man
Paul- Lady Madonna , For No One , Golden Slumbers , Helter Skelter
George- Something (Anthology version), While My Guitar Gently Weeps , Anthology Something
Ringo- Don't Pass Me By, Octopus's Garden, With A Little Help From My Friends
First three- Because .
The anthology version of Something is such a great vocal. If the full song had had that vocal in it, it would be one of the Beatles's very best songs, rather than just one of a number of excellent songs. You can really hear the raw emotion in there that is lacking from the final vocal, which IMO is far too polished.

All of the above are my favorite vocals, respectively – not necessarily for the lyrics.
With A Little Help From My Friends
*sigh*
See ya next week with new favorites.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
My favourite vocal is John's performance on ” No Reply “. I think this was a brilliant take where John pulls off the difficult trick of sounding tough and vulnerable at the same time. Aside from John I can really only think of Ronnie Bennett ( The Ronettes ) as a vocalist who could also do this. The fact that Paul responded to this so forcefully with his incredible backing vocal has to make this one of the great Beatle vocals.

Hey Jude and Instant Karma ! are my two favourite all round vocals from Beatles.
On Hey Jude , Paul starts out sounding nervous, but he gradually gains confidence himself as he advises Jude, until the massive ending. The performance really suits the lyric IMO.
Similarly, Instant Karma ! The way John's voice decrescendos in the outro is so much better than a fade. Again, I think the vocal really enhances the song beyond what notes he hits.

John's vocals on Rain , as it must take some talent to be able to sing backwards!
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

It's really quite simple if you sing into a mirror.

But first you have to take the vocal and split the image through a double-fibrocated sploshing flange.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

In cases where mirrors are used, a single fibrocated sploshing flange achieves the same result. If you really want to get crazy, try it in a fun-house mirror. That was attempted on Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite and can be heard on the Anthology CDs. That take broke down quickly and they then decided to eschew the fun-house mirror. That technology was yet to be perfected until years later when it was tried during an episode of The Brady Bunch. You remember the one where Peter's voice started to crack? Well, the actor couldn't quite achieve the sound they were looking for, so…
*Why are you all looking at me like that?*

God , what other references can Zig pull out? If you name the show that ran from 1960-1965, and starred Mary Tyler Moore, you get an apple.
