I wonder why they ditched the backing vocals from the Parlophone audition when every other performance available has them. I also always forget that there is a version of this with Ringo from the Star Club recordings, in my head it’s always with Pete on drums. Oh, there is also the lovely rendition from the ‘Get Back ‘ times.

We need more of that in the Peter Jackson film. You can tell John is really getting a kick at Paul going off into his opera voice. Dissolve the misconception that everybody was fed up with Paul all of the time.
