This includes their post-Beatles solo careers. Also, the covering artist doesn’t necessarily have to be alive now.
Here’s my list. Some of my entries are meant to be comically absurd, others are serious:
James Taylor — Penny Lane
David Bowie & David Byrne in a duet — I’m So Tired
Emmylou Harris & Linda Ronstadt — Mother
The Three Tenors (Plácido Domingo, José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti) — Piggies
William Shatner — Tommorrow Never Knows
Phoebe Snow — Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Robert Goulet — Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite
Andy Williams — Michelle
Frank Sinatra — Julia
Neil Young, Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan — You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away
The Rolling Stones — Drive My Car

Oh, I just thought of a doozy:
Boris Karloff singing “I’m Looking Through You “.
Just think about it.
(Although Karloff died long ago, in 1969, the actor Jeremy Irons has a remarkably similar voice — so he could pull it off. Or just some good impressionist out there.)
