Almost every Beatles song has a girl in the lyrics, whether it be the title or a mention. (Note: assume that mentions of “you” or “baby will sparingly be a girl, since it’s sung by a Beatle).
Beatles songs without a girl:
Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite!
12-Bar Original

Notes:
*Some songs feature a teacher (assuming female)
*I know, I know… gay people today… (But in relation to the 60s)
*”Blackbird ” is loosely translated into “black girl”.
Who is your favorite Beatle song girl? (It may be a title, or a mention)

One of the conspiracy theorists did have an interesting speculation that when the Beatles were singing love songs to girls, they were really singing to all of us — expanding romantic love into some kind of transcendental love.

Don’t forget the excellent trivia about the two songs where the subject’s gender was changed. Sexy Sadie (about the Maharishi) and She Said She Said (about Henry Fonda)
If I recall correctly You Know My Name does’t mention a girl either. Girl from Girl is probably my favorite Beatles Girl. That sigh is just such a unique choice to follow that line, and the way that the harmonies change and expand each time over the word Girl is genius.

“You Know My Name” I believe refers to a Beatle getting a girl to call them, despite the phone ad which inspired it. Therefore, a girl is mentioned. (sparingly, “you” denotes a girl, since it’s sung from the point of view of a Beatle).
-And Sea Belt, that is exactly what happens with “Free As A Bird “, “Real Love ” and “Now And Then “.

There’s really nothing to definitively suggest that the telephone call in “Look Up The Number” is being solicited from a girl, though.
