Never heard of it before?!

Speak for yourself – I’ve heard it thousands of times! It was #1 for eleven weeks. Where’ve you been for the last 40 years??

GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

It’s that famous Beatles classic “Carnival Of Light In The Sky (No Diamonds, Though)” with special guests Jimi Hendrix on electric kazoo (played backwards) and Frank Sinatra on bass tambourine (played upside-down). Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Is that meant to be a cover of a non beatle recorded beatle song giveaway!? I dont get this thread.

Its good a nice sound to it admitedly, there is something about Indian music which can be transfixing.

Think it’s just a dumb sub-Rickroll joke that’s been posted to at least three different threads now.

Of course! And, how could I forget the distinctive sound that Sinatra has when playing bass tambourine upside down! It’s a shame he didn’t play it on One For the Road, it’s so good! a-hard-days-night-george-10

Cheeky bitch.

Joe’s in a frivolous mood today!

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
