I was listening to a Talk More Talk podcast the other day, and they were listing their favorite of the songs that went to #1 by the Beatles as solo artists. They used the Billboard Hot 100 as the defining measure of what constituted a #1 song, so there were 16 of them: Three by George, two by Ringo, two by John, and Nine by Paul.
George’s:
My Sweet Lord , Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth), Got My Mind Set on You
Ringo’s:
Photograph, You’re Sixteen
John’s:
Whatever Gets You Through the Night, (Just Like) Starting Over
Paul’s:
Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey , My Love, Band On The Run , Listen to What the Man Said, Silly Love Songs, With a Little Luck, Coming Up , Ebony And Ivory (with Stevie Wonder), Say Say Say (with Michael Jackson).

It’s interesting that George had the first solo #1, and also the last.
The four people on the podcast chose as their favorites, respectively, My Sweet Lord , Photograph, Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey , and Silly Love Songs.
Nice that none of the four picked the same song as their favorite. My choice would be Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey , I think that is the best and most clever of all the tunes.
They also pointed out, and I have to agree, that there were other songs that deserved to be #1, but didn’t quite make it: Instant Karma , It Don’t Come Easy, Another Day , Live And Let Die , and Jet .
