Both of those being some of my favourite songs, I’d love to do that. Unfortunately, Rock Band has neither of those so I can’t use the files.
However, if it had just one, I might have been able to do something with the isolated vocals.

Offline On the topic of LOVE-style mashups, there’s been some great ones posted on this thread. Just using that as a general idea; I think it would be really nice to do something as a community. You’re all great people, you know, and it would be brilliant to come together and create something really good, sharing ideas and techniques. What do you lot think?

Offline @Starr Shine?, I’m including your idea of an I’ll Follow The Sun /Rain mashup. It’s probably going to be quite difficult unless they’re in the same key, but I’ll try to find a way.
Would anybody be interested in hearing the first track, or would you rather wait until the mix is finished? I’ll provide a download link of sorts when it’s done, for your listening pleasure. I don’t think I can be as genius as George and Giles were, but I’ve got hopes for this, as long as I don’t rush it.

Offline It screwed up. The audacity file isn’t opening. I’m looking at all the ‘solutions’ online, but they all say the same thing and it should be working, but it’s not.
Every single time I do something right, it ALWAYS messes up, without fail. Ugh.

Offline Im rotten at suggestions of which bit of which song goes with which when it comes to these as beats and all that stuff bamboozles me but i will give anything like this a listen and provide feedback. My lack of input is not lack of interest.
I will say however try out anything that comes to mind and dont be too fussed or downhearted if its not that great. The best ones are usually the ones that come more thru accident than design.

Unfortunately not. As I’ve mentioned previously, the computer I’m using isn’t very good; I’m only using it for my projects, be it music or filming or whatever. I’m redoing it and I’ve asked on the Audacity forums, but there’s been no reply. Honestly, it’s probably easier just starting again.
