Her brother was so jealous until he figure out that the 2 first letters of his first and middle name are “Jojo” “Jose Joaquin”. So they're Martha My Dear and Jojo the loner.

Offline Good guess, but those both actually employ the volume pedal. (Although I've seen a couple of uninformed sources claim otherwise.)
The modern-day Wah-Wah pedal wasn't marketed until 1967, so that narrows it down a bit…
