I heard Martha My Dear is about one of the Beatles' own dogs… can anyone verify this?
Yep…
Cuuute!! Hehehe sorry… fangirl moment.
My niece Martha Elisa has had 3 stages with that song:
1. OMG the Beatles wrote a song using my name!!!
2. Ehhh the song is actually about a dog…
3. Well who cares? They wrote a song using my name…
Her brother was so jealous until he figure out that the 2 first letters of his first and middle name are “Jojo” “Jose Joaquin”. So they're Martha My Dear and Jojo the loner.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……

Now I get to ask one. What's the only Beatles track with Wah-Wah guitar? (I think there's only one…)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Is the guitar on Yes it is considered, as you put it, Wah-Wah ?

Good guess, but those both actually employ the volume pedal. (Although I've seen a couple of uninformed sources claim otherwise.)
The modern-day Wah-Wah pedal wasn't marketed until 1967, so that narrows it down a bit…
