Am I being silly.
In an article called ‘10 Best Country Covers of Your Favorite Beatles Songs‘ ‘Act Naturally ‘ is included with the text reading
Just a year after Ringo’s original rendition was featured on Help !, Buck Owens put his stamp on the cult favorite song live at Carnegie Hall. Together with his whole band, Buck puts together a rollicking country western version of the classic tune. The performance features stellar harmonies and all the showmanship that won his band a spot on top of the Billboard charts. This is classic Buck at work.
Buck was the first artist to record it, doing so two years before Ringo.

I’ve been listening to this song lately. It’s great. I always liked it, since first listen.
I think Ringo does a fine job here. George guitar fills and flourishes fit perfectly, very much in the style.
And Paul harmonies are very good.
Even the little noise from the acoustic guitar strings at the end fits well…
