Beatley moment indeed! To be less of distraction, I’ve moved the “Were the moon landings a hoax?” topic here Into the Sky with Diamonds
How about moving the conversation somewhere else other than a thread plugging your own book… You know… some of us might get the wrong idea here…:-)

Yea, right, peace and love!
How about “Revolution ” – outdated (or not)?

Nice little segment from this morning’s TV. The importance of Apollo 8 in Mankind’s history has not diminished. (Bill Anders – the astronaut who took the Earth picture) – is the only astronaut from the Apollo program I’ve ever spoken to.)

50 years since the White Album . It’s difficult to comprehend that actually. It’s hard to explain, but to hear that milestone makes me feel sad, but the content itself always makes me feel happy. We listen to this music so regularly, and we know it’s from the past – in my case long before I was even born, but it’s so ever present in our lives.
I suppose what I’m saying is the content holds up incredibly well. It’s now timeless and has a life that’s seperate from its creators. The power of these performances will sustain itself for another 50 years and beyond. I just love these guys and always will. Their music is an old friend that’s always with me.
