Has anyone heard/seen this? It’s an interesting article and audio clip.

Yeah I heard it few a years ago, basically an extended version of Revolution 1 . I find it pretty tideous to be honest.
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

I have it on my playlist. It's only Revolution 1 without electric guitar and for the last 5 minutes of the song there are a lot of Revolution 9 sounds

I did find Revolution 1 take 20 and found it interesting. At the time I did not have any version of Revolution 1 on my itunes, so I took the opening talk and parts of the ending of take 20 and added them on to Revolution 1 (the album version) so that I could get the guitar and brass in as well. Also for fun I added some extra effects from Revolution 9 so I kind of put a mix of these three versions together.

This “new” track was on the internet since 2009? Who had it and who leaked it? What other gems might still be out there?
Hey Jude with no fade-out is out there.

Is that on Anthology 3 ?
I'm surprised the full version of RT20 didn't make it. It sounds pretty clean, even in mono.

In terms of who had it, I don’t know. In terms of other gems not released, you have Carnival Of Light , Take 3 (27 min) version of Helter Skelter , and Circles. I don’t think anyone knew about RT20 when Anthology came out. And no, Hey Jude without the fade out isn’t on Anthology 3 , a rehearsal from 2 nights earlier is the Hey Jude on An. 3. Welcome, by the way! (Any fellow Canadian is a good thing.)

Thanks! This is the only forum on the internet worth joining. Plus I have access to info on the Canadian releases, so I can remix the songs into the original Canadian Capitol releases while still keeping the original British versions. Think I'll fire up “Something New” to celebrate.
Cheers!

I remember when it first leaked and the ensuing excitement on the Internet. Fun times.
I listen to it from time to time. It’s a pretty interesting listen.

This is great. I like the kind of stripped down Revolution 9 part. Sounds like what a lot of experimental electronic/industrial/etc bands have been trying to do ever since. Needless to say since I dig that kind of music too, I liked hearing this. (not sure how I hadn’t heard it before now, unless I have and just forgot somehow. these things happen I suppose)
I’d almost go as far as saying that Revolution 9 may have been a little too far out in hindsight. Then again I think that was the point.
