with this thread we are well prepared for questions for Paul but what if you trip and fall all the way into Ringo then what will we ask of him?
the Idea for question I have is Out of all the instruments you saw your fellow Beatles play which would you want to play the least and why?

I’ve been thinking about making a thread like this! I’m bad at asking questions though so… Don’t have one now.
Edit: How does acting compare to music?

Haven’t both Ringo and Pete said at various times that there have been opportunities where they could have stopped and said hello but chose to walk on by instead?

What is it like knowing Paul McCartney ?
Have you ever been interested in learning bass guitar? Or more regular guitar?

Ringo plays guitar but bass, alas, in the words of the great man himself
“I play piano if it’s in C
I play guitar A D E
I don’t play bass cause it’s too hard for me”

Are all the Beatle Biblers (Forumpudlians) bringing Ringo (or his people) a cake? That was our plan right? And to hopefully not be arrested for a bomb scare.

I’d mention Bernard Purdie’s claim that he played drums on several Beatles songs; and how some bloggers have the plausible theory that he may in fact have overdubbed some drums on a few of the Pete Best-era recordings for USA release. And whether he would agree that this is in fact what possibly happened, and that Purdie was merely exaggerating his accomplishments rather than completely inventing some totally nonsensical claims. (Possibly out of jealousy that his own considerable musical accomplishments didn’t make him a huge star and millionaire like Ritchie.)

Excellent research, MeanMM! At least once on this forum I’ve expressed my wish that somebody could determine the actual source of that remark.

If you mean the comment about not being the best drummer in the Beatles John never said it, it was a joke by Jasper Carrott that become attributed to John. You can find an article reporting it here and the BBC provide the name of the comedian.
Wow, nice research! While we’re on the topic, do you know if John said that supposedly famous quote about Happiness? You know, the one with the teacher?
Back on topic I would ask Ringo what his least favourite Beatles song to drum on is, as in the one he finds most tedious to play

What Happiness quote about the teacher?
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

I’ve seen talk amongst others, tho lacking any reliable source, and the common over-riding opinion was that John didn’t say that happiness quote. If you want a place that says it wasnt then here is one.
Personally i’m of the opinion it wasn’t John who said it as what 5 year old would say something like that?
