I wonder if we brought a nice, big cake with us that says “What’s my name? RINGO!” on it would the casino management let us meet Ringo?
We should all try this at each venue, and eventually hell either accept the cake or well all be arrested fo multiple bomb scares

Offline Ringo Starr ‘s birthday (July 7) is only 2 days after Expert Textpert and I see him in concert. It’s his last concert before his birthday this year. He picks up again on the 9th.

June 6th in Rama, Ontario (SatanHimself’s show)
June 8th in Willimasport, PA (Zig, did you get get your ticket(s) yet? If not, see the next section.)
June 15th in Providence, RI (DrBeatles’s show)
June 29th in Cleveland (I think someone mentioned going to this one or the one in Toledo)

June 10th in Albany, NY (a few left from Ticketmaster and some from resale vendors)
July 1st in Toledo
July 19th in LA (parlance’s show)

Offline Is anyone else here going to the Casino Rama show in Orillia, Ontario? It’s a “cottage country” venue, so I expect the crowd to be mostly wealthy Baby Boomers, but I figure that there’s a good chance that fans from the Toronto area will be making their way up as well.

No, it hasn’t even shown up on Ticketmaster yet. Santa Barbara goes on sale Saturday, so I imagine soon.

Offline Ringo just announced a date in my town at a4200 seat amphitheater! Fix are only 85usd for seats. They go on sale at 9am Saturday, I’ll be there around 5-6 depending on just how cold it is. Wish me luck!

Still not on sale? I remember when I saw the list of dates last month pretty much every one was on sale apart from a few.
Meet the Beatles for Real was asking on Facebook if anyone knew when the tickets would go on sale for the show in Tunica, MS. I called the events center for that casino, and the lady said that the tickets hadn’t even popped up on her screen. She said she thought they *might* go on sale at the end of March.
I wonder how many other places haven’t started selling tickets yet.

Last Friday they announced a July 2 stop in Dayton Ohio. It’s a 4200 seat ampitheater and seats are only 85usd, lawn 45. Mom and I are going to the ticket office Saturday morning 3 hours before they open. They’re not using ticketbastard, they’re using “etickets” or something. I’m sure the resellers will still be bombarding, but hopefully the actual box office will have a decent number of good seats. I’m psyched as hell! Paul last year, Ringo this year…and hopefully Paul again next year

Tickets went on sale Saturday at 9. I was 14th at the ticket office. I should have done it online – I even had my phone with me – as it is I got 4 seats, just about the worst seats, in the top left corner of the seats. However, they are seats! My uncle, who just inherited a million dollars, said he didn’t want to come because it would cost too much! It only costs the gas to get here and the 75 bucks for the ticket! Mom talked him into coming. This will be two beatles in 2 years for me and my uncle, finally will can say we’ve seen as much of the beatles as is left…still it’s not the same as seeing them in say, the cavern club, without the screaming girls, or on the roof of EMI (how could the police have broken that up? They had to know the historical significance!).
