So, not only are we seeing Ringo in Las Vegas, but we are seeing the new version of Beatles Love as well. I’m excited, this is going to be fun.

Darn, when you’re down here I’ll be up in Montana. Well if you want reccomendations for other things to do down here, just ask me.
I will recommend that you go check out that Beatles Neighborhood.

@William Shears Campbell, we are planning to catch a couple of shows on the strip, maybe see the Neon Museum, and maybe do a cheesy pink Cadillac tour with an Elvis impersonator. I also wanted to see this museum where the floor of the museum used to be a gymnasium floor that Elvis and Ann-Margret danced on during a scene in Viva Las Vegas.
This is our third or fourth time there. What is this Beatles Neighborhood you speak of?
Also, what do you recommend in the way of nature? We wanted to see more nature this time instead of looking at drunk, gambling smokers.

Well in the city there’s also the bodies exhibit, and the titanic exhibit. Then theres the mob museum which will take a few hours to go though as it is 3 floors. Then to eat, I think there’s a rainforest cafe, which is always fun, or probably more up your alley, there’s the hard rock(tho you’d have to go to the one on the strip since the old one closed this year).
As far as nature goes, it’s not really the city for nature. If you’re willing to take a bit of a drive, there’s this place called the springs preserve which is the water spring that originally brought people to Vegas(tho it is long since dried up now). There some cool naturey things there. There’s also Hoover Dam(which is also a bit of a drive) as well as Lake Mead. And of course you could make a bit of a trek up to Boulder City where there’s a lot of cool little shops and stuff. If you go up to Boulder I reccomend this place called the Scratch house, where they make all their food from scratch. It is very good.
The Beatles Neighborhood is more in Henderson but not too far. I’ve posted about it on here before but basically it’s this tiny neighborhood where all the street names are Beatles related. It’s not that big but it’s cool nonetheless. If you look up a street called Straberry Flds in the area, it should take you to the entrance.

ET, you’re gonna enjoy the changed up (just slightly) LOVE. They added Twist And Shout and it’s so much fun. Lady Madonna and a couple of other numbers have new production as well. I was just there last month and saw the show for the fourth time!
Paul is first, in just a few days, then the count down to Ringo begins… Nov 7! Love me Ringo dear.

Has Twist And Shout been changed in any way from the album version?
And in the end the lunch you take is equal to the lunch you bake.

I know it’s still a few months out, but I’m so excited about November 11th I could almost cry. And I’ll have a friend to come with me!

Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

I remember in June last year in Nashville, but I did that solo and I was sick almost the whole time, especially after, with a 6 hour drive between Nashville and home 🙁
This time, it won’t be 98 degrees, I won’t be alone, I won’t be sleep-deprived, I won’t be food-deprived, I won’t have work the next day, and the drive is about an hour instead of six. Win-win-win-win-win-win! =)
Looking forward to it! It’s going to be awesome.

I just bought two seats for the last night of the tour in Newark. I’m going to bring my 11 year old son, who is also a drummer. So excited and grateful to be seeing two Beatles in the same year!

Is the “no photography” rule Ringo’s rule? Is it actually enforced? I love taking a few photos and videos to remember a show, it would be disappointing to not be able to do that.
Might be a venue rule, and the ushers seemed to get on your case if they happen to see a cellphone that might just appear to be held up a bit too long. It was like that at the Ryman in Nashville as well. They were policing it really hard. Some lucky ones always seem to get away with it, though. There’s really no way to catch them all, almost everyone has a phone on them nowadays. =/

Well I hope it’s not a rule on Thursday in Newark…if it is, I will be testing it.
