Offline One of my favourites. I remember seeing the clip on Rock Arena back in the 80’s. One of the peculiarities of the area I was living in was that you could pick up the TV station on a radio frequency so I was able to tape the audio on my cassette radio. There was a whole show dedicated to ex-Beatle clips so I heard many of them, including a lot of Ringo who pumped them out a bit in the late 70’s. I think it was the same show I saw/heard many George clips too. This is Ringo doing Weird Al before Weird Al got going really.

Offline I love this song. It’s one of the only Ringo composed tracks in Ringo’s library. It’s a nice funny silly track.
Also this thread should be called Stop And Take The Time To Smell The Roses since that’s the name of the song. Stop And Smell The Roses is the album name.

Offline The whole album is great, including the title track. A real gem in the Beatles solo discography, showing up surprisingly late.
