I do believe that might be the case. You might assume that Paul and John would get all the attention, so you over compensate? It still doesn’t explain why, but then I don’t understand Australia’s obsession with Lost in Space either. Ah, culture.
I do admit that if I were to go to one his or Paul’s concerts, it would be to see a Beatle. I hear Paul still gives a good show. Any chance that he might go west of the Mississippi?
I’ve seen Paul three times now and one of those was in Liverpool on 28 June 1990. That was where the live recording of the Lennon medley came from (Strawberry Fields/Help /Give Peace A Chance ) so I’m actually on a live McCartney song!!! Believe me, seeing him live is something special…………..after all he IS Paul McCartney

I was hoping he'd announce more UK dates rather than just the single O2 Arena one in December. That concert was billed as “his only UK concert in 2009”, suggesting there may be more in the new year, but there's been no word. The Millennium Stadium here in Cardiff would be ideal – hopefully there'll be a summer concert with the roof off and the sun shining

Paul could sell out the UK no problem……………….only trouble is, his ticket prices are so darn high!
Skye: here it is Shame Macca can't get the words right though!
Oh……… and I'm the one in the audience……see if you can spot me

Did anyone buy Y Not this week? I downloaded it yesterday ($8 on iTunes) and while I’m still mulling it over, I’d say it was good. Nothing really stands out.
That’s a great way to describe it, but I’d say ‘The Otherside of Liverpool’ stands out for me. Also, I got it for 16$ (I was feeling rich), not really worth it, but I’m not disappointed or anything.
Ringo wants you… to buy his lastest album.
When I Twish And Shout, it makes the Girl say "What Goes On?", and than I say, "I do this Here, There and Everywhere", and than she finishes by saying "Honey Don't".

I think I like Can’t Do It Wrong a little better. They’ve certainly upped the price.
I do enjoy that tune, and the price is weird considering no one else in my small town will buy it, lucky they have me.

Well it’s not to small, maybe 3,400? It’s not like it’s huge, and the best we got was AC/DC like a couple of towns away.
P.S. AC/DC is my least favorite band.

Here I am necroing again sorry.
I just bought Y NOT and I’m wondering how folks feel about it a bit down the track? It’s the first Ringo album I have bought since, from very hazy memory, Rotogravure (I vaguely remember liking ‘A Dose of Rock and Roll’ at the time). So, my first in what, 37 years?
I’ll add my thoughts here after I’ve have had a chance to listen to it a time or three. As you can see, I am well and truly bitten by the bug again – and loving it

Don’t worry, I necro all the time (never heard that term until now). I like seeing the history, and it’s better than starting a new thread.

Cheers – I think so – but on some forums it is a bannable offence so just being VERY careful -though I think Joe and company will cut me some slack
