Ringo played this song from the rooftop of St George’s Hall in Liverpool as the city began its European capital of culture year (2008).
Yes, the Liverpool 8 title was nicely appropriate for the Liverpool (200)8 European Capital of Culture celebrations – as well as being the postal code of Ringo’s childhood homes.
