Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

I’ve just seen Ringo advertising shoes on Channel 4! And it is definitely Ringo. I have to admit I hardly ever visit this bit of the forum but what’s going on?
@Sugarplum fairy, I moved your question to this thread. I suppose you are talking about his work for Skechers. If he is advertising for another shoe company, let me know, and I’ll move your post back.

They are good shoes, and it’s a clever advert.
Agreed – I own a pair and they are quite comfortable. I will definitely be getting more. The only problem I anticipate is finding room in the closet for them. I love my wife dearly, but the shoes! Dear God the shoes!!

I do like the Skechers ad. It’s now my second favourite Ringo ad. His ad for Century 21 I think takes some beating though.

I hadn’t seen that Century 21 commercial.
The couple made the right entertainment choice!

I wonder why Ringo does these. It cant be for the money and you cant tell me its just because he likes the products.I find it a bit embarrassing.
I’d say it’s for the money….you can never have enough money…
Anyhoo the other day I bought a pair of Skechers for hiking purposes- damn you Ringo!

When you’ve got £100m in the bank a £60 pair of shoes isnt going to be a purchase you worry over. Like Paul turning up his heating; he’s not worrying about going from 2 bars on the electric fire to three.

Very often the incredibly wealthy are incredibly mean. He is probably getting a lifetimes supply of them.

On the contrary, these are some of the least irritating adverts I’ve seen in forever… but perhaps that’s just my inner Beatlemaniac talking.

It could well be, as well as keeping him in people’s minds for the next All-Starr tour or the next album. Getting the brand out there, less exhausting than doing 80 press interviews a day for a week and a great deal more fun. Oh and free product and money.
