Nice list @William Shears Campbell (Also welcome back! Darn, I didn’t see the countdown clock reaching 0 minutes). I noticed you missed one soundtrack album that features Ringo:
I figured you were gonna mention Souse The Mouse since I did skip that one. I’ve never heard of this movie. I’ll have to put it on my watch list.
Yes, I returned about 6 months ago now. However, my presence on the forum has been a bit sporadic due to college and work keeping me busy. I’m gonna try and be more active though.

Cool, I’m glad you were able to assimilate back into your regular life without major disruption. I’ve known people that had a rough stretch after returning from their missions or the Peace Corp. Btw – I was just teasing you about the Alice soundtrack. Ringo as the Mock Turtle is only in the scene I posted and one other one at the end of the movie. I think Expert Textpert and I were the only forum fans of the Nonsense .

Oh my god I completely forgot that Ringo was in that movie. I used to own it on DVD and watch it all the time (like all the time) when I was younger. It terrified me and gave me nightmares and was weird af but still……it has since been buried in the deep depths of my psyche until I came upon this thread……
That song is now haunting my brain…..

When I first posted the Ringo scene years ago, I had no idea what it was from (I assumed it was British). After reading all of the sentimental comments on YouTube and discovering it was a US network mini-series from 1985, I realized I must have had some exposure to it because my oldest daughter would have been 10. I looked at a bunch of clips but only the ending when Alice has gone back through the mirror into her living room and all of the characters are waving goodbye rang a bell. I remember my daughter was crying and I assumed she was having empathy for Alice leaving Wonderland. Looking at that scene now, I think she might have been projecting her feelings about our family situation (pending divorce) onto the movie and wanting things to return back to normal.

I’ve been listening to ET & WSC’s Ringo playlists this week. Lot’s of enjoyable tunes I haven’t heard in a while or ever. It makes me wonder why Ringo doesn’t put together a proper tour of his music only (instead of the All Star format). He could perform a killer playlist with all he has to choose from. I wonder if he believes that his fans are only interested in hearing his Beatle songs?
