A thoroughly enjoyable birthday show. I really liked Sheryl Crow’s and Sheila E’s performances, personally, but the whole thing was fun and worth watching. Nice to see a recent clip of Paul and Ringo onstage together…

Top viewing figure live was approaching 135,000. Probably Ringo’s biggest live audience in years.

Did like Sheila E’s Come Together , nice to see Ringo do the drum track, Sheryl Crow’s virtually one man band (see had someone else do the trumpet) was great, and the new version of Give More Love had some surprises.

A shame nobody did Ringo’s classic Octogenarian’s Garden. ahdn_john_08_gifa-hard-days-night-george-10
