I’ve been reading lots about Gibson and Epiphone guitars of the early sixties and came across this article about the Beatles Epiphone Casinos.

I love Andy Babiuk, he’s more of a Beatles guitar expert than i am, he does make one small mistake in the article though. He claims that John and George’s Casino’s live debut was on Top Of The Pops on 16 June 1966, however John used his Casino on 1 May 1966 at the NME awards.

I thought that this was going to be about Apple-licensed gambling. Of course, because it’s Apple, you’d be playing for chips.

Apple would have you paying for your chips, charging you extra for ones slightly bigger in size making out they give you more chance of winning. You’d also keep on playing as occasionally Apple would let you win $30 but you’d work it out that it cost you $4k due to paying for a ton of crap you never thought you’d ever want whilst playing.
