Anyone know why the new stereo mix of She’s Leaving Home is accelerated? Sounds like the mono mix

Offline Giles wanted to recreate and match the feel of the original mono mixes when remixing the new remix as mono was king back in the day whereas now stereo is where it’s at.

And because the four Beatles actually sat down with George Martin and the production team to perfect the mono mix, whereas the stereo mix was thrown together rather sloppily. Giles wanted there to be a stereo mix that was true to the original Mono release with today’s advancements to boost the quality.

Offline I haven’t bought the new pepper yet, but am slightly disappointed that they didn’t center the vocals on all the songs. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be!
