EDIT (September 2014): Link appears to be no longer active.
Please note (especially if you’re affiliated with Apple Corps, Harmonix, EA or MTV): I didn’t create or upload the files in the above link, and only found them via a Google search. I don’t know who was responsible for ripping and uploading them. Also, The Beatles: Rock Band is a great game which I thoroughly recommend people buy, and this is no substitute.
OK. These are the stem files used during the creation of The Beatles: Rock Band. They can be opened in Audacity (freeware). You’ll then be able to isolate or mute particular parts of The Beatles’ recordings, eg vocals, guitar, bass, drums, edit them, rearrange them or sample them. So much fun!
You’ll also be able to hear bits of conversations, asides, mistakes and much more that can’t be heard on the album mixes.
The three files Huge One parts 1, 2 and 3 are the Abbey Road medley. If you can’t unpack .rar files, download UnRarX (OS X) or Rar Extract Frog (both free). There’s also a readme.txt file, which reads: “Rename any files with *.ogg to *.mogg”
One other thing: because these are Rock Band files they often have count-ins drafted in from other studio takes, or fade-outs, so they’re not always fully authentic. It’s still as close to The Beatles’ multitracks you’re likely to get.
Happy mixing!

AFAIK these are taken from the Xbox release, which has 10 multitrack parts per song. The Wii and PlayStation editions apparently had fewer.
Obviously The Beatles' music was recorded on 2-, 4- and 8-track, so often the extra tracks will be echo parts, treble/bass boosts, or quieter versions in case a player drops out while playing.

I'm using a Mac too. I'm using Audacity to open it, and Unrar X to extract it. I've had those programs for a while though. Maybe I should update them?
Edit: Okay, apparently I had the latest versions, so that wasn't it. Hmm… Do you have any plug-ins installed? Or maybe it's my version of OSX… Ah, I dunno. All the other ones work fine
Nope, I have standard versions of Unrar and Audacity. Have you tried downloading again? Perhaps it got corrupted.

Mine cuts off at around 2'45. I presume an incomplete file was uploaded. I've looked for an alternative but haven't found one yet.
I love McCartney's bass part in that song. Hearing it in isolation is amazing. I never knew he played bass chords in it either.

I think the problem is with audacity and not with the download, cause I know that my entire file is there but only 2 45 of it open. On their website it says that certain programs sometimes have problems opening ogg vorbis files, so it seems more widespread.

I've read that too, but I can open the Abbey Road medley without any problem. I don't know why it would flip out on IWY(SSH).
There's a discussion in the comments here, suggesting it might be a memory issue, but I doubt it is. http://avaxhome.ws/music/The_B….._2010.html

Joe, this is awesome! I played with these all weekend. I mainly muted everything but Ringo and Paul, and messed around with the channels. Outstanding! I did have a problem with a couple files, IWYSSH and Day Tripper . They convert in Audacity, but no song shows up. Oh well. This is a great find none the less.

Damn you Joe!
All the hundreds of hours I put into my “Alternate Hystery Tour” thing, and now I've got all THIS stuff to contend with?! It'll take me hours just to absorb the “Good Morning Good Morning ” tracks. Finally get to hear that screeching guitar solo isolated! And who knew that the boys' vocal devolved into “Guten morgen, guten morgen, gut!” during the fade?
Again: Damn you, Joe! (By which I mean THANK YOU!)
