Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I wonder if anyone has heard John’s recorded piano track from “Something “?  I know it was mostly edited out of the mix (except for the bridge), and that the coda became “Remember” on Plastic Ono Band, but I always wonder if somewhere there is a mix with the part still in it.  Maybe someone could point me in the right direction?

You can hear it on Take 37 which was the basic track of the released version and continued into a jam.

And this is absolutely beautifully stuningly beatifully gorgeous – the isolated piano, strings and things track from Rock Band.

Yes, thank you for this.  I meant to tell you that earlier but it slipped from my thought.  I kind of understand why it was left out of the mix though.  I loved hearing it, but it wasn’t exactly subtle.

Bass and drums isolated:

Some interesting thoughts about the performance on this page (which is where I found it): http://bobbyowsinski.blogspot……s-and.html

through out this forum post, a guy posted a lot of isolated tracks.  Some I can’t even find on YouTube (even though most you can find with a little looking).

That’s bizarre. He’s taking requests, but you can make your own mixes using the Rock Band stem files (and Audacity).

Oh wow thank you Joe for the link :)  I still haven’t downloaded them though…. not sure if I am just lazy or know my life would be sucked into messing with them endlessly, but now I know where to find them finally.

I very much recommend downloading them all, so if the links ever vanish you’ve got your own copies.

Well there we go, downloaded and couldn’t be more happy.

Quick question, has the “Everybody smokes pot”/”Everybody’s got one” at the end of “I Am The Walrus ” discussion ever come up on the board somewhere?  After hearing that part isolated I am 99% sure its “Everybody smokes pot” but I want to know if anyone else has heard it isolated.  Any opinion Joe?

Haven’t heard it isolated. I’ll give it a listen when I get home.
