My band is trying to do a faithful cover of Something . Does anyone know the source of the organ sound being played during “I don’t want to leave her now, You know I believe and how,” portion of the song?
Thanks

Welcome to the forums, let me explain how to play Something to a tee:
Guitars:
George Harrison plays lead guitar on his Gibson Les Paul through a Leslie speaker and Fender Twin Reverb amp, these are the parts he plays the way he plays them:

The rhythm guitar part was played by John Lennon and is much simpler and is what you hear for most of the time, he used his Epiphone Casino, also through a Leslie speaker and Fender Twin Reverb amp, these are his parts and the way he plays them:

The Hammond organ part was played by Billy Preston, who also played the same instrument on Let It Be : (note that bold means chords and also, during the bridge, there’s a piano part by John doubling the organ)

I am not going to analyze the bass and drums for you because I don’t play either instrument and also I spent 2 hours analyzing this, but they should be easy.
