I know that Nowhere Man features a natural harmonic fretted over the 5th fret of the high E-string at the end of the guitar solo.
Are there any other Beatles or solo songs that include guitar harmonics?

The hunt begins! (I can’t think of another deliberate harmonic either, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there were others buried in mixes).

I can’t check it now, but I seem to remember there’s a harmonic in a backwards solo (Tomorrow Never Knows , I’m Only Sleeping ). Can anyone prove my recollection is true or false please?

I think It’s All Too Much has some harmonics in it.

Thank you for these suggestions. I’m not sure, but I don’t think there are guitar harmonics used in Tomorrow Never Knows , I’m Only Sleeping , or It’s All Too Much .
I found out that Your Love Is Forever by George Harrison has some harmonics (played across all six strings).

I just checked TNK – the note at 1:15, I’ve always thought Paul ended (which, when reversed, is started) that phrase with a harmonic. Have I got that wrong my whole life? I probably have, now that I think about it

I have an isolated forwards version of the solo, and it seems 50-50 that it’s a harmonic or feedback, and given the strong possibility of it being Paul’s Epiphone Casino, it’s probably feedback. Something that gives that more credence is the fact that the note is only in the stereo mix of the song.

The chorus effect on the guitar obscures it somewhat, but what about the last note on the lead guitar for ‘Sun King ‘, just before the vocal harmonies kick in? The effect could be making it sound like that but I don’t think so…:-)

It’s actually tremolo and no, it’s not a harmonic, just an arpeggiated chord

Oh well spotted in Honey Pie ! I should have known that, too. It’s the top three 12th fret harmonics dropping down to some kind of F# 9th fret shape.

I can’t tell for sure, but I think those harmonics are actually plucks above the neck instead; it seems like they decay faster than harmonics might. But I dunno…either way, a dramatically low-key ending after Paul’s hysterical finale, and a cool sound going through that amp tremolo! (and Leslie cabinet?)

Good point, VB. On listening to it again, I don’t think they are guitar harmonics.
While it’s not always a reliable reference, The Beatles – Complete Scores indicates that those notes are played on a synth.

Haha, it’s definitely not a synth.
