I've got a question: Why do people name their instruments? I don't imply that's bad, just curious.

?And to keep on topic another question. Did the Beatles give a name to their instruments?

I've had the same instruments for quite a while now – and I've never named any of them. I think I called my off white Strat “Whitey” for a while, then I decided it was in bad taste. Haha. a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

I recently bought George Harrison 's old Moog, the one used on “Abbey Road ” and “Electronic Sound “, and was signed by all four Beatles, and had my manservant fly to England to see it delivered safely back to me. Also I recently won the lottery! Also, I'm a terrific liar.

When I get my bass, I'll give it a nickname, for exemple, if it was a String Ray, I might call it Ray, RotoSound, I'd call it Roto (or John).

I wouldn't name any other instruments though, like I haven't named my drums, and I don't play too. I think naming guitars, and bass' isn't weird, maybe even a bit cool.

When I Twish And Shout, it makes the Girl say "What Goes On?", and than I say, "I do this Here, There and Everywhere", and than she finishes by saying "Honey Don't".

When I bought my Rickenbacker someone in the pub asked me what it was called, and quick as a flash I said: “Christina… because she's beautiful”. Christina Aguilera was at number one with Beautiful at the time. I don't even like the song, but Christina it is.

BTW Kitzia, your Facebook link doesn't work. You've got a redundant facebook.com/ in the URL which breaks the link. And I'm very jealous of your dad!

Ah! Thanks a-hard-days-night-george-9 It's fixed now! You guys should add me a-hard-days-night-george-8

I can't afford a Casino, so I'm saving up for an Epiphone Dot: http://www.theguitarstoreonlin…..69-85-234/

You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

The Dot isn't a bad guitar. More of a bluesy sound then a Casino. I believe John used a dot for Yer Blues , I think.

Epiphone Dot is a semi-hollow guitar and Casino is a full hollow guitar. I believe John always played the same Casino.

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

Aw… I thought this would turn into a bragging contest.

I would love to get an epiphone casino, however like Paul i’m a lefty and would need to get it restrung since epiphone don’t make a left handed version. You would have thought they would make a left handed version since one of their most famous players was a lefty.a-hard-days-night-paul-8
